Hello everyone! I hope you’ve all had a great week. I spent the week working on homework, decluttering our kitchen (I got a set of new pots and pans, yay!), and pulling a few things out to start decorating for fall. I know it may seem early but fall is my favorite season! I just can’t help it. The fall weather is so nice, the colors are stunning, and the food is comforting. I will never get tired of fall. I just wish it lasted a little longer, you know? Oh well! I will just have to soak it up as much as I can when it gets here. What about you, what’s your favorite season? You’ll have to let me know in the comments! Anyway, today’s post features a recipe! Surprise, surprise. 😉 I’m sharing a peach smoothie with you guys!
This recipe is definitely more of a dessert smoothie. It’s not one that I would recommend drinking for breakfast to hold you over until the next meal. It’s great as an afternoon snack or even after dinner as a dessert!
- 1/4 cup cashew yogurt, plain (or yogurt of your choice)
- 1 ripe peach
- 1/2- frozen banana
- 1/2 cup frozen mango
- 1/4 cup cauliflower
- 1 cup almond milk (or milk of your choice)
- 1 TB chia seeds
- 1 TB hemp hearts (optional)
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (optional)
- Sprinkle of cinnamon
- Splash of vanilla
- 1-2 ice cubes
Throw everything into a blender and blend on high. Top with some granola or fresh peaches, enjoy!
