    Mason’s First Birthday Party!

My nephew Mason had his first birthday over the weekend! The poor little guy wasn’t feeling very well though. He had a stomach bug which Danielle, Kendall, Jeremy, Chris and I all ended up with Monday and Tuesday. It’s a good thing Kendall and I took off work because whatever we had was definitely contagious and not fun at all, but we are thankfully all feeling better now! Despite the fact that half of us got sick! haha. We still had a great time celebrating Mason’s first birthday. I snapped a few photos during the party and I thought it would be fun to share them! You end up looking at the popcorn in your cupboard and decide that it is, in fact, a well-rounded meal. It’s not like I’m speaking from personal experience here or anything. 😉 Okay, but for real, I love to cook and I have some nights that I come home from work and I have dishes piling up, 1,000 pictures to edit, a laundry pile the size of Mount Borah, and absolutely no motivation to cook. So, what’s my solution for those nights? An easy meal that doesn’t take too much thought!…

    My 16 Current Goals

I’m a goal-oriented person. I always have been and I probably always will be. As a little girl, I remember my mom creating a chart that enabled me to win a prize after I had read so many books. She was trying to teach me how to read and she knew that if I had a goal in front of me, I would get after it. So, as soon as she had that chart in place I grabbed stacks upon stacks of books and read my little heart out. Let’s just say, I learned how to read pretty quick once I had a goal in front of me. To this…
