    Sheet Pan Sausage and Vegetables

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great week! This week went by fast for me. Somehow I feel like I’m busier working from home then I was when I was going into the office. Maybe it’s because when I’m home I’m constantly wanting to create and learn. I will figure out a good balance eventually. I think that getting used to the whole working from home thing has been a process. I’m sure that when I have it more figured out, I will end up going back to work. haha! This year has been nothing short of interesting. So much good has come from it though. Even if…

    Easy Homemade Salsa

I got asked the other day how I decide what recipes to create and shoot for the blog, and honestly, I think it’s a combination of what’s in season, what I’m craving, and personal requests. This recipe was definitely a personal craving. I thought I would share it in case you’re having a salsa craving too, enjoy! Salsa is one of my favorite things to make during the summer months. I have to admit though, this recipe is not the same if you buy the tomatoes from a grocery store. Use tomatoes from your garden or from a local Farmer’s Market. I promise it will make a huge difference! My…

    Berry Oatmeal

I have to admit something, I used to dislike oatmeal. I know some of you may think I’m crazy for saying that, but I always thought it was bland. Honestly, it was bland, but that’s because I wasn’t adding any good toppings to it. After a lot of trial and error, I have created a recipe that I love and now, I eat oatmeal pretty much every morning! Here are all the ingredients you’ll need! If you would prefer bananas over berries, the banana walnut combo with some almond butter also tastes delicious. I have been loving eating warm oatmeal with fresh berries every morning. I hope you enjoy this…

    My 16 Current Goals

I’m a goal-oriented person. I always have been and I probably always will be. As a little girl, I remember my mom creating a chart that enabled me to win a prize after I had read so many books. She was trying to teach me how to read and she knew that if I had a goal in front of me, I would get after it. So, as soon as she had that chart in place I grabbed stacks upon stacks of books and read my little heart out. Let’s just say, I learned how to read pretty quick once I had a goal in front of me. To this…

Especially since summer is right around the corner! This smoothie recipe is really refreshing! I added some bell pepper in it to add even more vitamin C but you can omit the pepper if you want. My 25th birthday was on Sunday! I can’t believe it. Time flies. I feel like I was just celebrating my 18th birthday yesterday and here we are, seven years later. Today, I thought it would be fun to share a few things that I’ve learned over the past 25 years. Let’s get to it! Don’t take things too seriously! Learn to laugh a lot. With others and also at yourself. 😉 Understand that every situation is a learning opportunity. Whether you fail or succeed you are able to learn something from both. Stuff and accomplishments will never fulfill me. Work hard and accomplish great things but realize that fulfillment isn’t…
