Lemon Berry Smoothie
I honestly don’t think this blog would be complete without a bunch of smoothie recipes because I drink them so often. I get asked all the time if I continue to drink smoothies throughout the winter months and the answer is, yes! I actually think it’s more important to drink smoothies during the winter months because our immune systems tend to get knocked down easier when it’s cold outside. I can happily say that I haven’t gotten a cold this winter (knock on wood) and that is almost unheard for me!! But I do really think that drinking a smoothie every day, as well as my other lifestyle choices, has…

Although, I just had to share my new favorite latte with you guys!! It’s actually a tea latte but it’s still very delicious. I’ve been on a peppermint tea kick lately which I tend to do around the holidays because peppermint reminds me so much of Christmas! Speaking of Christmas, are you guys ready for it? I can’t believe how fast it’s coming!! I kind of want it to slow down so I can…

It’s a good busy though, especially since I’m entering into the peak season for photography. Kendall and I actually got to shoot a wedding over the weekend together, which was SO fun! Hopefully I will be posting a recap of the wedding we shot sometime next week, but today I’m sharing a simple smoothie recipe that…

Especially since summer is right around the corner! This smoothie recipe is really refreshing! I added some bell pepper in it to add even more vitamin C but you can omit the pepper if you want. Although, I promise you won’t even taste it! I have been adding both fruits and veggies to my smoothies so that I’m getting a good variety of nutrients and it still taste great. If you have any questions on other alternative veggies to add…

My Favorite Protein Powder+A Green Smoothie Recipe
A few years ago, I was on the hunt for a protein powder that worked well with my body. I ended up trying several different kinds but couldn’t find one that didn’t make me sick or give me a migraine. But finally, I discovered Tone It Up Protein Powder and I’ve never looked back. 😉 I love this protein powder because it’s plant-based and contains no whey! It’s easy on my stomach and it has never made me sick. I have been using it for three years now and it is hands down my favorite protein powder. Above are my three favorite flavors: Vanilla, Chocolate, and Coffee. I tend to…

Today, I wanted to share a smoothie recipe with you that I created last weekend. I have tried several smoothie combinations and this one is in my top five favorites. I like it because it is filling and keeps me satisfied for a couple of hours. It’s packed with nutrients and it tastes delicious! It also contains a lot of food staples, so it makes it easy to make whenever I feel like having a morning or mid-day smoothie. 🙂 Pictured above: oats, cinnamon, peanut butter, flaxseed meal, vanilla protein powder, and unsweetened almond milk. I will do a post soon going into more detail as to why I use…
