    Berry Oatmeal

I have to admit something, I used to dislike oatmeal. I know some of you may think I’m crazy for saying that, but I always thought it was bland. Honestly, it was bland, but that’s because I wasn’t adding any good toppings to it. After a lot of trial and error, I have created a recipe that I love and now, I eat oatmeal pretty much every morning! Here are all the ingredients you’ll need! If you would prefer bananas over berries, the banana walnut combo with some almond butter also tastes delicious. I have been loving eating warm oatmeal with fresh berries every morning. I hope you enjoy this…

    No-Knead Artisan Bread

I posted this recipe on Instagram stories a couple of days ago. I had such a great response to this recipe that I wanted to share it here as well. If you ever want to find the recipe on Instagram, I have a highlight dedicated to homemade bread so it will be there archived on there as well. I hope you enjoy! For this recipe, you will need these three ingredients and water. I’ve had a few people message me that they can’t find bread flour during this time.  Which is okay! Use what you have on hand. Regular flour and whole wheat flour will work as well! After I…

    Toscana Soup

I was originally planning on doing a homemade bread recipe today but I decided to move that to tomorrow and do this Toscana soup instead. Apparently, this soup is a favorite from Olive Garden! If you’ve had it at Olive Garden you should let me know how this compares to it. I did end up switching up the ingredients a bit to make this recipe dairy-free but I will make sure write in the original ingredients as well. I hope you’re all surviving this quarantine and enjoying this extra time with your family. If all else fails, cook something! A good meal makes everything better. 😉 Here are all of…

    One-Pot Cajun Chicken Pasta

I’m not sure if I’ve ever mentioned this before but every dish I make or post on my blog is dairy-free.  I do this because of my allergy to dairy.  So, if you’re also dairy-free or are trying to cut back on dairy, I have a ton of recipes that I can share/will be sharing over time here on the blog.  I just thought I would throw that out there! Also, if you want dairy in your dishes, it’s easy to swap out the oil for butter or the coconut cream for heavy cream! As far as gluten goes, I still cook with gluten but will occasionally make a dish…

    Lemon Berry Smoothie

I honestly don’t think this blog would be complete without a bunch of smoothie recipes because I drink them so often.  I get asked all the time if I continue to drink smoothies throughout the winter months and the answer is, yes! I actually think it’s more important to drink smoothies during the winter months because our immune systems tend to get knocked down easier when it’s cold outside.  I can happily say that I haven’t gotten a cold this winter (knock on wood) and that is almost unheard for me!! But I do really think that drinking a smoothie every day, as well as my other lifestyle choices, has…

    Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup

If you follow me on Instagram, you probably already know my obsession with soup. The other day, I was trying to think back on what I had eaten over the last two weeks and the majority of my meals consisted of soup! haha. I’m not complaining though because soup is delicious. Today, I wanted to share my current favorite chicken noodle soup with you guys. Let’s get to it! I always have to do Mise en place before I start cooking! Culinary taught me well! When everything is pulled out and measured ahead of time it makes cooking a lot quicker. I usually end up making a majority of my…

    Peppermint Tea Latte

Wow! It’s been a while since I’ve written a post on here.  I’ve actually been missing it a lot lately but I vowed to slow down over the holidays so I haven’t been posting as much.  Although, I just had to share my new favorite latte with you guys!! It’s actually a tea latte but it’s still very delicious.  I’ve been on a peppermint tea kick lately which I tend to do around the holidays because peppermint reminds me so much of Christmas! Speaking of Christmas, are you guys ready for it? I can’t believe how fast it’s coming!! I kind of want it to slow down so I can…

    Pumpkin Cranberry Bread

Oh, fall, how I love you. All the smells, the colors, and the crisp air. Everything about fall makes me giddy. I used to think summer was my favorite season. I was definitely in denial because I now know the best season is. Beyond a shadow of a doubt, it is fall. Fall has many perks but I think one of my favorites is that baking daily is now socially acceptable… or at least I would like to think so. 😉 I baked this pumpkin bread earlier this week and I had a few messages on Instagram for the recipe so I decided to share it with you guys on…

    Cauliflower Curry Dish

It’s officially fall which means I’m craving soups, stews and curry dishes! The dish I’m sharing with you today, I found on Sanna Vloet’s Youtube channel. So I definitely can’t take credit for coming up with this recipe. I gave it a try a couple of weeks ago and I loved it so I wanted to share it with you guys today! Here are all of the ingredients I used, minus the olive oil. Some of my favorite spices! Definitely, don’t forget to add the cinnamon, it adds a lot to this dish. This is the coconut milk that I use for this recipe but you can use any kind…
