Salmon Salad with Lemon Tahini Dressing
Happy Friday! I hope all of you’ve had a great week! I’m sharing a recipe that I ate twice this week for lunch. I’m sharing it because it’s SO simple and yet it hits the spot. Sometimes I find that simple meals are the best. Let’s get to the recipe! Here are all of the ingredients minus the salmon fillet. As I said, it’s simple. You could definitely add more vegetables or some seeds to it if you’d like. I will leave that up to you and your creativity! Although this salad is simple, it has fiber, fat, protein, and greens! A wonderful nutrient dense combination that leaves you feeling…

Shrimp Pasta with Asparagus
Happy Friday! I hope you guys have had a good week. I’ve been loving the weather lately. I’ve been getting outside as much as possible and it’s giving me life! The warm weather gets me excited to plant a garden which I’m hoping to plant soon! Do you guys like gardening? You’ll have to let me know in the comments. I always like to hear what people grow. I also like seeing pictures of all the fresh produce! Feel free to send me your garden pictures so that I can celebrate with you! Today, I’m going to share one of my favorite spring pasta dishes with you guys! Asparagus is…

Blueberry Kiwi Smoothie
Happy Friday! I hope you guys have had a great first week of spring! In honor of spring I thought it would be fun to share a smoothie with you guys! I’ve been addicted to blueberries and kiwis lately so I decided to combine the two and make a smoothie! Let’s get to it. I always try to sneak frozen veggies into my smoothies, so in this particular smoothie, I used cauliflower! If you haven’t tried frozen cauliflower before, it may sound weird, but you can’t even taste it! It makes your smoothie extra creamy without any added flavor! Some other vegetables that I like adding to my smoothies are…

Crockpot Vegetable Beef Soup
Happy Friday everyone! I hope you’ve had a great week! I’ve been working on finishing up school this week! I only have three more days left! Hooray! It’s crazy how fast it has flown by. I’m also getting really excited for spring break! Kendall and I won’t be going anywhere since he has to work but we may try to go on a few hikes if the weather is nice! All I know is that I will definitely be taking a few days to relax and enjoy some time outside! It will be good. You’ll have to let me know in the comments if you’re doing anything fun for spring…

How to Make Almond Milk
Happy Friday! I hope you’ve all had a great week! I’ve spent the majority of my week working on homework. I have one week left, which is exciting but it also kind of makes me sad. I’ve really enjoyed learning about nutrition and I’m not ready for the program to end. I have no doubt that I will continue learning after I graduate. It’s ingrained in me to enjoy learning so there will be plenty more books read and classes that I will be taking in the future! I also wanted to update you guys on this website! I know that I mentioned it before but I will be changing…

Matcha Latte
Happy Friday! As I’m writing this post I’m actually drinking a Matcha Latte! I’ve been drinking Matcha for over five years here and there but this last year, I’ve been drinking it consistently as part of my morning routine! I really enjoy coffee but my body doesn’t handle coffee very well. When I suspected that I had Endometrioses and possibly adrenal fatigue, I decided it was time to cut back on the caffeine (per my doctor’s recommendations as well). I honestly never drank more than two cups a day but I decided it was time to find a good alternative. Now, I only enjoy coffee on occasion and I really…

Hi! Welcome back! I’ve been in the kitchen a lot recently creating and shooting recipes so I’m excited to keep sharing recipes with you guys! I’ve really been enjoying the feedback that I’ve been getting from you guys on Facebook and Instagram regarding the recipes/food that I’ve been sharing. I really do enjoy sharing food and nutrition with you guys so I don’t see it stopping any time soon. Let me know if there are any future recipes that you would like to see. Alright, let’s get to the recipe! Here are most of the ingredients minus the carrots, celery, and onion. I have really been loving Kettle & Fire…

Dairy-Free Chocolate Chip Cookies
I was making dinner Monday night and I got into a baking mode so I threw together a batch of these cookies. I typically don’t share a recipe within the same week that I test it but this recipe just couldn’t wait! I hope you love these cookies as much as I do. I have to be honest with you, I can’t make these cookies very often. I’m actually not a huge sweets person (probably because I’ve always been really sensitive to sugar) but these cookies are addictive! I wouldn’t say they are the “healthiest” because they still do have sugar in them (coconut sugar, maple syrup) but they are…

Easy Whole Chicken+Bone Broth Recipe
Hey! I’m back again with another recipe well… actually two recipes! They go hand in hand so I figured why not share them both in one post? I’ve been cooking a lot of whole chickens lately because they are SO easy to make. Crazy enough I used to be intimidated by cooking a whole chicken. I’m not exactly sure why? Sometimes I’m intimidated by the easiest dishes and then when it comes to a complicated dish I’m like, “let’s go for it!” Anyway, let’s get to two of my favorite “intimidating” recipes. Here are the spices that I used for the whole chicken. I just use spices and an onion…
